In this course students will learn how to preform single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), care for dislocations, fractures, head, and neck and spinal injuries and provide time-sensitive assistance to people suffering an allergic or anaphylactic reaction. Students will also learn the principles and procedures for first aid management of burns, dislocations, soft tissue injuries and wounds.

Students are required to complete theory online before attending a practical training聽day on campus.
Class sizes are kept small to ensure students have adequate working space and undivided attention from our industry qualified Trainers.
Along with the knowledge of how to manage unconscious victims,聽students are also taught how to confidently conduct a visual and verbal assessment of the casualty, how to complete safe manual handling techniques and how to provide an accurate report of the incident.
During this short course students will actively work through a theory workbook before using first aid equipment to demonstrate their practical knowledge.
A 鈥淪tatement of Attainment鈥� will be issued listing the individual units successfully completed.

Course Cancellation and Refund Information
If you wish to cancel your enrolment, you must provide us with written notification to info@queensford.edu.au stating your full name, course details and reason for cancellation. Please note there will be NO REFUNDS granted before, on or after commencement date of a course. Students will be enrolled into the next class session if they have notified the college they cannot attend and wish to attend the next class session.
