Want to Inspire Young Minds? Follow Jade’s Path to Early Childhood Education

Jade Bridgitte’s journey from the Philippines to Brisbane, Australia, is one rooted in a deep love for children and a passion for helping them grow. Ever since she was young, Jade knew she wanted to work with kids, to be the kind of teacher who could inspire them, guide them, and make a real difference in their lives. After gaining some teaching experience, she felt that there was so much more she could learn – and that’s what led her to حلحلآ‏» College.آ

Currently, she is studying CHC50121 Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (CRICOS Course Code: 107131M) at our Brisbane campus, where she’s learning not just the theories but also the practical skills that will prepare her for the challenges she knows she’ll face in the industry. Even though Jade has previous experience as a teacher, she knew that she needed more than just passion. She needed the right training, and that’s why she chose حلحلآ‏» College – a place where hands-on learning and real-world experience are at the core of our approach.آ

“I knew I had the passion for teaching, but I needed more than that to truly excel,” Jade says, her eyes lighting up as she reflects on her decision. “I wanted to learn more, to understand the why behind what I was doing, and that’s exactly what I found here.”آ

Why did you choose حلحلآ‏» College?

For Jade, choosing حلحلآ‏» College was about finding a place that offered more than just theory. She wanted an education that would prepare her for the real world, where she could learn not only the concepts behind Early Childhood Education but also how to apply those concepts in the classroom.آ

“I didn’t want to just sit in a classroom and memorise information from a textbook. I wanted to learn how to apply those knowledge in real-life situations,” Jade explains. “When I found out that حلحلآ‏» focused on hands-on learning and real-work scenarios, I knew it was the right place for me.”

What stood out to Jade was the way the curriculum was designed. “The way the course is structured really helps you understand how everything fits together,” she says. “We’re not just learning about child development or behaviour theories. We’re also learning how to apply all of that in real situations.”

She also appreciates the close-knit, supportive environment at حلحلآ‏» College. “The trainers here genuinely care about your success. They don’t just teach from textbook, they share their own experiences with us. It makes everything feel so much more relevant,” Jade says.آ

How has حلحلآ‏» College prepared you for the challenges of the childcare industry?

Jade feels that the most valuable part of her training at حلحلآ‏» College is how well the college prepares her for the realities of working in the childcare industry, “The program at حلحلآ‏» is structured in a way that really prepares you for what it’s like to work with children every day. It’s not just about the theories and concepts; it’s about learning how to manage real situations that will come up in the classroom.”

Through the curriculum, Jade has been able to work through scenarios that might happen in real life – whether it’s managing difficult behaviour or helping a child through a developmental milestone. “We go over a lot of practical situations in class. We discuss how to handle challenging behaviours, how to create an environment where children feel safe, how to encourage positive development. It’s like training for what’s ahead.”

Her trainers have been instrumental in this process, “Miss Trish for my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and miss Neeraj for my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care have been amazing. They’re always there to help us, to guide us, and they’ve been really supportive, especially before and during placements. It’s clear that they care about us as students and as future educators.”

What key skills have you developed or improved during your study?

When Jade reflects on the skills she’s developed during her time at حلحلآ‏» College, one thing stands out – her confidence. “Before coming to حلحلآ‏», I was already teaching, but I didn’t feel completely confident in everything I was doing. Now, I feel so much more sure of myself. I understand the why behind everything I do, and I know how to create a safe, nurturing environment for children.”

She also feels that her ability to work as part of a team has improved significantly. “In Early Childhood Education, you’re always working with others – other teachers, staff, parents. Before, I was focused mostly on my own work, but now I understand how important it is to collaborate and communicate with others. My trainers have really helped me develop those skills, which are so important in the field.”

Another area where Jade has grown is in her understanding of the technical side of child development. “I’ve learned so much about how children grow an develop – it’s not just about knowing the basics of teaching, but understanding how kids’ brains work, how they learn, and how to support them in the best way possible,” she says.آ

How has حلحلآ‏» College helped you grow as an educator?

Studying at حلحلآ‏» College has helped her grow not only as a teacher but also as a person. “The more I learn, the more I realise how much I have to offer as an educator. But also, how much I still need to learn. That’s the beauty of this field – it’s always evolving, and there’s always something new to discover.”

She speaks with pride about how her understanding of Early Childhood Education has deepened. Jade credits much of her growth to the hands-on approach at حلحلآ‏» College. “The practical work we do in class – role-playing, problem-solving real-life situations, and learning from our trainers’ own experiences – has made me feel so much more confident and prepared for what’s to come.”

Final notes

Jade’s time at حلحلآ‏» College has reinforced her passion for working with children and strengthened her desire to help them grow in a safe, nurturing environment. “I’ve learned that being a good teacher is about understanding each child’s needs and helping them reach their potential.”

As Jade looks ahead to her career in Early Childhood Education, she feels more prepared than ever to make a real difference. “حلحلآ‏» has given me the knowledge, the skills, and the confidence I need to help children grow. And that’s the most rewarding thing I could ever ask for.”
